Laredo Boots is committed to protecting our environment and ensuring that we leave it better for future generations. In furtherance of that mission we’ve reengineered our box to meet the Forest Stewardship Council’s stringent FSC Recycled standards, which require that the paper and wood used to make this box are 100% sourced from recycled wood fibers or reused materials. The FSC certification also helps protect our forests and the workers that depend on them by: (1) requiring that trees are harvested responsibly so there is no net loss of forest over time; (2) ensuring all workers are provided with proper training, adequate safety protocols, and fair wages; and (3) requiring that local, indigenous communities are consulted and their legal land rights respected. Forests provide so much to our world in terms of materials and livelihood. We are protecting valuable resources by ensuring that these products have been harvested in a responsible manner. This box represents our first step to reducing our carbon footprint and our personal impact on the environment. Join us in this effort.

Born in 1974, Laredo has been a steadfast staple in American western wear, building boots meant to traverse any terrain and keep up between dusty, small-town rodeo days and big nights out on the town. With an affinity for the vintage and enduring icon that is western boots, our mission is to celebrate the tried and true authentic lifestyle. That means creating boots that are both practical and fashionable so everyone has a place at our table. Timeless, quality design — in and out of the saddle.
I had the pleasure of being selected to re-brand all three sub-brands within this iconic brand, and I continue to get to work hands-on in all aspects of the brand image and the new direction they’ve taken on. From the logo, packaging, hang tags, stationary and physical product branding, to the web design and overall brand image. Additionally, working with sourcing and our factories to ensure all of the packaging is sustainably manufactured and produced.
The images carousel specifically, provide a few examples of the progression of the new identity in packing & stationery from concept to production.
